Importance and Reliability of Electronic Components

Electronics components are the major part of electronic system and are rapidly growing in both, performances and sizes. For the manufacturing course of action of electronic goods, electronic components are an essential part. The development and future inside the industry can be established by the good quality of components utilized within the manufacturing procedure.

Any wrong selection of electronic component can create heavy and unpredictable losses, causing failures and delays in the product releases. The way we live and the advancement in technology is all due to electronic components since they were first introduced into products. Every industry from consumer goods to military equipment uses these components. From using vacuum cleaner to flying a helicopter, electronic components are the essential parts of thousands of products.
Every component has its own different quality that determines the future and growth in the market. Quality components increase the functioning of the end product and its durability. Faulty electronic parts can cause the whole product to crash and even stop working very early on in its product life-cycle.
Reliability is one of the important attribute which determines quality of electronic components for safety of components. Both manufactures and customers of electronic components should define the reliability in a common way. Reliability prediction is the process that determines the performance ability to perform the required function without failure during its life. Reliability prediction is done during concept, development and maintenance phase. In order to understand the concept of reliability failure needs to be defined.
There are many companies who sell surplus electronic components. A good indicator of a trusted supplier is how large their volume of stock is and how quickly they can send it to you. You can also keep an eye out for certifications in, ISO, AS, ASNI/ ESD.
